After airing a conversation between a woman and an IRS agent, iconic radio shock jock Howard Stern is now getting sued for supposedly revealing the lady’s tax information on air, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

Back in 2015, an IRS agent called the Howard Stern Show and was put on hold. During that time, the agent started talking to a woman named Judith Barrigas for nearly 45 minutes about her tax case. Meanwhile, a staffer on Howard’s show overheard it and decided to play the convo live on satellite radio.

The IRS agent, Jimmy Forshythe, filed a complain for the incident on Monday in a Massachusetts federal court, reading: “While on the phone with Agent Forsythe, Mrs. Barrigas suddenly began to receive a barrage of text messages and phone calls from unknown callers/individuals. The text messages were informing Mrs. Barrigas that her personal information and phone number was being aired live on ‘The Stern Show.’”

Barrigas’ lawsuit says that the phone call can still be heard on the Internet is an outrageous “violation” of privacy. Forsythe was later put on administration leave after the incident.

Now, Barrigas is suing the government and the Stern show for negligence and invasion of privacy.
