Ah! There’s Going to be a ‘Love Actually’ Sequel

Get ready for the best news you’ll hear all day (besides that Amanda Bynes is back on Twitter)… Love Actually is coming out with a sequel, and many of the original cast have signed on!

Well, by sequel we mean a ten-minute short film for the British charity Comic Relief.

Those involved in the short throwback film are Hugh Grant, Martine McCutcheon, Keira Knightley, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth,  Andrew Lincoln, and Bill Nighy, among others!

The short film is titled Red Nose Day Actually, and will be 14 years after the events in the 2003 movie.

“Over the years I’ve enjoyed doing Red Nose Day specials,” Richard Curtis, writer of the original film and the new short, said in a statement. “It seemed like a fun idea this year to do a special sketch based on one of my films… I would never have dreamt of writing a sequel to Love Actually, but I thought it might be fun to do ten minutes to see what everyone is now up to. We’ve been delighted and grateful that so many of the cast are around and able to take part and it’ll certainly be a nostalgic moment getting back together and recreating their characters 14 years later.”
