LOL! Shailene Woodley Shares Mugshot Regret

Shailene Woodley has no qualms about standing up for what she believes in. The “Big Little Lies” star was arrested in October while protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline, as her mom videoed the scene and streamed it live on Facebook for all to see. She does have a tiny regret, though, and it’s not what you might expect!

The outspoken actress stopped by The Late Show last night, and shared with Stephen Colbert that she just wishes she could have a mugshot do-over! She said, “I wish I’d known that this was going to be as public as it was. I would have made, like, a face. I’m just looking at the person, like, ‘Are you kidding me right now?'”

Despite the botched photo opportunity, Shailene has no plans to stop plugging away for the cause, and encourages others to follow her lead. She said, “The front lines don’t necessarily have to be in North Dakota. The front lines can be wherever you are. You can create a protest in New York City, because protests are about awareness and about people coming together.”

You go, Shailene!
