Tom Brady’s Mom Underwent Chemo, Then Saw Her Son Win the Super Bowl!

Tom Brady’s mom hasn’t attended any of his games this season due to an illness, but the Super Bowl is a different kind of game. And by the grace of courage, Galynn Brady attended and say her son take home the gold.

New England Patriots wonder Robert Kraft told NESN that Galynn had undergone chemotherapy and radiation last year: “I spoke to [Tom] in the locker room before the game, and I said, ‘We gotta win this one for your mom,’ because I know how important his mom is,” Robert said. “She’s been going through chemotherapy and radiation, and this is the first game she’s been to. She came here, and I just saw her, and it was really cool.”

In an epic game, the Patriots beat the Falcons 34-28 in a shocking turn around in the second half. In a press conference, Tom addressed the stories surrounding his mom’s health.

“Yeah, it’s personal with my family,” he told reporters. “I’m just hoping everyone is here on Sunday to share a great experience. It has been a tough year. Every family goes through different things. My family has always been a great support system for me.”

We all wish for a speedy recovery.
