James Corden and Adam Lambert Duel for Queen Frontman Gig!

James Corden had some beef with Adam Lambert being the new frontman for Queen, and he made it known to all on The Late Late Show last night. Since Queen is one of Britain’s all-time greatest rock bands, James, being from London, felt that he would have made a better contender for the role. He told the audience,

“In my head growing up, I always that thought I would make a great frontman for Queen. Who is it? Who is it now? Adam Lambert does it. I mean, yeah, it’s alright. It should be a British man. I’m not saying I’m a better frontman than him, I’m just saying I’m a better frontman than him. That’s what I saying.”

Well, those are fighting words, so naturally, Adam magically appears at that moment to challenge James to a singing duel to prove who is the real man for the job. James tries to weasel out of it, saying they don’t have the needed band members, but low and behold, Brian May and Roger Taylor just happened to be there, waiting onstage.

The battle was epic, including lots of Queen’s classic hits, but ultimately James concedes to Adam’s “Another One Bites the Dust”, and the two close things out with the duet, “Somebody to Love”. Check it out!
