STOP, Trump Defends the Twitter Troll That Came After Leslie Jones?

Milo Yiannopoulos is definitely a polarizing figure, an editor of Breibart News who literally drove Leslie Jones off Twitter because of disgustingly racist comments that were literally crazy (at one point he used the word “monkey” to describe her).

We can’t exactly see a silver lining when it comes to this guy, but Trump certainly can.

Milo was scheduled to appear at the University of California at Berkeley, until a crowd protesting his appearance began hurling smoke bombs and breaking windows, which promoted a massive bonfire. Nearly 1,500 people gathered outside the venue, according to the Associated Press.

Because the police said they couldn’t guarantee security, the vent was canceled and Milo was escorted out the building.

That’s when Trump responded, saying “If U.C. Berkeley does not allow free speech and practices violence on innocent people with a different point of view – NO FEDERAL FUNDS?”

So first he defends a man who literally says nothing but bad things about people (is that really free speech), then he threatens to pull U.C. Berkeley’s federal funds?

Milo is an avid supporter of Trump and is a self-proclaimed Internet troll. He was banned from Twitter after the Leslie Jones fiasco. In defense of his event being canceled, he took to Facebook writing “The Left is absolutely terrified of free speech and will do literally anything to shut it down.”
