NY Fashion Week Gives Kanye West the Boot

Kanye West has been kicked out of New York Fashion Week.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, Kayne’s presentation is absent because he did not consult with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, which coordinates the schedule, about its timing.

In a statement, CFDA president/CEO Steven Kolb said this:

“Not going through the proper channels is disruptive to the whole week and unfair to designers who have secured spots through the formal procedure. This bad behavior is not acceptable to the CFDA and should not be tolerated by the industry,” according to Pitchfork.com

The Yeezy Season 5 fashion line was supposed to be featured on February 15 during the event.
