Ivanka Slammed For Insensitive Post
As the world reacted in protest over Donald Trump’s recent refugee ban, Ivanka thought it would be a good time to post a glamour shot of herself and husband Jared Kushner. She was wrong.
Last night around 9 p.m. ET, Ivanka took to Instagram and Twitter to share her very ill-timed snapshot:
Meanwhile, thousands of people rallied at airports across the nation, protesting as refugees and citizens from 7 predominately Muslim nations were detained and banned from entering the United States.
Probably not the best time to flaunt going to a black tie even wearing a $5,000 gown.
Social media reacted, some with powerful comparisons to what is going in the rest of the world:
@IvankaTrump How blessed you are that your children will never need your dress to stay warm. #StopPresidentBannon #MuslimBan #refugees pic.twitter.com/ObkOFDkt2I
