The cast of Hidden Figures took home the SAG Award for Ensemble in a Motion Picture. The hit movie is based on a true story of three brilliant women who assisted NASA with much needed mathematical data that enabled astronauts like Neil Armstrong and John Glenn to travel into space and back home safely. The movie has finally made Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson household names. Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monae played the women and Taraji gave a powerful speech while accepting the award on behalf of the cast. Congrats to the cast on their big win this evening.
