Robin Thicke Being Investigated for Child Abuse

Robin Thicke’s wife, Paula Patton, filed an emergency hearing with the LA County Department of Child and Family Services requesting that his access to their son Julian be restricted and that daytime visits be monitored because of “excessive spanking.”
According to TMZ, Julian had told mommy and grandma about daddy spanking him “really hard” before telling administrators at his Malibu school. According to an official at the school, Julian had told him that Robin “punches” him very hard, which prompted them to file a report.
In response, Robin sent out a statement saying that light spanking is only used “on a very rare occasion” and as a last resort. He describes the spanking as an “open hand on the butt.”
