Funny man Aziz Ansari is no stranger to pushing the envelope, and he’s about to break some more major new ground. The comedian, writer and co-creator of Netflix’s “Master of None” will make his Saturday Night Live hosting debut on January 21. Obviously, this is a major personal milestone for Aziz, but it is for the world of comedy as well, as he will be the first person of South Asian decent to ever host the show.

Aziz took to Instagram to announce the news:

Musician Big Sean will join Aziz, making his SNL debut as well.
