Actress Chrissy Metz, from This Is Us on NBC, is clearing up rumors about getting gastric bypass surgery.

She was spotted on a returning flight from Florida, at LAX,  in a wheelchair.  Many people are assuming that because her character plans on doing gastric bypass surgery in the show, that the wheelchair indicated the surgery happened in real life.

A rep for Chrissy told TMZ that she hurt her knee several days before and was still in some pain and that she did not undergo any form of procedure.

Chrissy wants to get the record straight that she did not undergo a gastric bypass surgery.

She is nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her role on the show.
