Actor Bill Murray and his brothers are set to open a Caddyshack themed restaurant in Chicago.  So he’s got that going for him, which is nice!

So he’s got that going for him, which is nice!

The bar would be within the Crowne Plaza hotel, according to Mayor Brad Stephens.

The Murrays have a verbal agreement for an 11,000-square-foot space inside the hotel and are now working on written lease.

Bill Murray famously starred “Carl Spackler” in the 1980 golf comedy Caddyshack.  It was the six brothers’ experiences growing up as caddies at a country club that inspired Brian Doyle-Murray to write the script for the film.

This restaurant idea sounds like a hole in one.
