It’s clear that The Talk is a mockup of the The View, only different of course. Host Julie Chen appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and if there’s anyone who knows how to get a guest to throw shade, it’s Andy.

Julie threw shade at The View, saying that it’s “whitening away.”

She was referring to a writeup in Page Six, which reported that sources said Barbara Walters felt producers were ruining the show’s legacy because of the constant cohost shakeups (Candace Cameron Bure left last week).

“I believed every word I read in Page Six,” Chen said. “There were contradicting sides and I believed that all of it was true. There’s a little bit of truth to everything… I do think that Barbara Walters is probably like, ‘This amazing show I created is now just kind of withering away with a revolving door of hosts that people can’t keep straight.’ I mean, I should know all of the names of the hosts and I don’t ’cause it changes so often.”
