Lamar Odom has checked himself into rehab in San Diego, California, sources confirmed with E! News. The Los Angeles Lakers player suffered a near-fatal overdose in Las Vegas last year and recently divorced from his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.

“It was his own decision,” said the source. “He wanted to work on his mental and physical health for the next chapter of his life,” a source shared with E! News. “He has not fallen off the wagon, but he understands the importance of maintaining his sobriety.”
