Amy Adams Will be Honored at Palm Springs Film Festival

Amy Adams will be honored the Chairman’s Award at the 28th Palm Springs International Film Festival. The Arrival star has brought nearly $73 million to Paramount with her recent gig, reports Deadline.

“Throughout her career, Amy Adams has continually challenged herself with complex roles,” said PSIFF chairman Harold Matzner. “This is reaffirmed in her most recent project, Arrival, where she anchors the film with an award-winning performance as a prominent linguist, Dr. Louise Banks, as she attempts to communicate with creatures in one of a dozen spacecrafts that visit Earth.”

The Palm Springs International Film Festival will take place January 2 to 16, 2017.
