Actress Alicia Silverstone doesn’t want you to wear wool this winter, and she has good reason!To make her point loud and clear, she decided to pose naked for the PETA poster with they caption:“I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Wool.”The 40-year-old actress and mother not only appears on the poster but on a New York City billboard, as well.Silverstone said in a PETA-produced video that the shearing process for sheep is anything but gentle.
“They’re cut, they’re harmed, they get very seriously wounded,” she said. “And there’s no care for them when they’re wounded.”
