Real Housewives of Atlanta is getting pretty interesting after it’s been revealed that Phaedra Parks’ ex Apollo Nida was engaged in prison.

AND he’s already shot scenes with his new fiancé for the upcoming season. Oh snaaaaap!

Sources told TMZ that Apollo started dating his mystery woman a couple years ago, and they became engaged just two months ago. Apparently, she’s a Jersey girl and doesn’t live far from the federal prison where Nida is held.

She also visits twice a week… how romantic!

Producers are keeping her identity under wraps until the episodes air, but TMZ did confirm the new fiancee has not shot scenes with Phaedra (how awesome would that have been though?).

His new fiancee doesn’t have a ring, that is, unless Apollo took it out of a Cracker Jack box. Let’s be honest, it’s not like they have a Kay Jewelers behind bars.
