Donald Trump is refusing to take part in the second presidential debate after the Commission on Presidential Debates announced that the scheduled October 15 forum would be held virtually.

“I’m not going to do a virtual debate,” he told Fox’s Maria Bartiromo on Mornings with Maria this morning. “I’m not going to waste my time at a virtual debate.”

Of course, Trump tested positive for COVID-19 last week.

He added that he refused to “sit at a computer” to debate Joe Biden, calling the new format “ridiculous,” adding, “The commission changed the debate style and that’s not acceptable to us.”

He then claimed that the commission is “trying to protect Biden.”
