Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez Responds to Cardi B’s Presidential Endorsement

As we previously reported, Cardi B recently endorsed Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez to run for president as soon as she turned 35.

Now, the congresswoman is speaking out about it, referencing the rapper’s hit song, “Wet Ass P*ssy.”

In an Instagram Story post by AOC, she shared how she was affected by the unequal access to dental health care as she played Cardi’s song “Bodak Yellow” in the background, which prompted the rapper to give her endorsement.

AOC spoke about how, as a working waitress, she was unable to afford the dentist — but now that she has health insurance, she’s able to.

When AOC saw the rapper’s endorsement, she replied by giving a nod to her latest hit track by writing: “Women Against Patriarchy (WAP) 2020.”

Simple, but makes a strong point. God, we love you AOC!
