Jay Leno has joined several other celebrities to defend Ellen DeGeneres.

The former Tonight Show host said that his “40-year-friendship” with Ellen was more important to him than “hearsay.”

Of course, he’s referring to multiple allegations from both current and former staff members that Ellen helped to foster a toxic work environment.

Jay joined Katy Perry, Scooter Braun, Ashton Kutcher and Ellen’s own brother, Vance, who have all defended the host.

The parent company WarnerMedia will interview staffers about their individual experiences working on the show as part of its internal investigation.
