President Donald Trump suggested the United States “delay” the upcoming 2020 presidential election due to the possibility of voter fraud.

It’s the first time he has suggested pushing back the election. He also added that it should be delayed “until people can properly, securely and safely vote.”

There have been many concerns over mail-in voting, which many states have pushed to be expanded due to the pandemic.

Joe Biden suggested in late April that Trump would make an effort to delay the election, so clearly he was right.

Speaking during a campaign event, Biden said, “Mark my words, I think he is gonna try to kick back the election somehow, come up with some rationale why it can’t be held,” Politico reported at the time.

Biden added, “That’s the only way he thinks he can possibly win.”
