Tom Hanks to Sell Hot Dogs at Oakland A’s Games (Virtually), LOL!

He’s back to where it all began — sorta.

Did you know that as a teenager, Tom Hanks once served as a peanut vendor during Oakland A’s games?

Well, he’ll soon be heading back to the stadium, according to NBC Sports.

In a video, the team used Tom’s high school picture to announce that he would make a triumphant return. A triumphant virtual return that is.

Like the rest of the MLB teams, the A’s will be hosting games without fans in attendance due to the pandemic. They will have cardboard cutouts of fans in seats and recordings of crowd noise to make the stadium feel less empty.

One of the recordings that will be playing is of Tom calling out, “It’s not a ballgame without a hot dog!” and “Hot dogs here! Colossal hot dogs!”

Haha! Honestly? This is the cutest thing ever.
