Missing Glee star Naya Rivera’s son was reportedly in “good health” when he was discovered alone on a rented boat after her suspected drowning.

According to Ventura County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Capt. Eric Buschow, 4-year-old Josey Hollis Dorsey was still wearing a life jacket when he was recovered this week from the vessel in Lake Piru.

“He’s in good health. The family is going through a very traumatic time right now,” Eric told reporters.

Naya had taken her son out on a pontoon boat on Wednesday, but according to reports, around three hours later, a boat rental employee set out to look for them when they didn’t return at the end of their session.

“He found Ms. Rivera’s son on the boat and Ms. Rivera was nowhere to be found,” Deputy Chris Dyer said to the media yesterday. “I can’t stress enough that this seems like a tragic accident, come out here for a great day and something bad happens.”

Shortly before her disappearance, Naya shared a sweet photo on Instagram with her son.
