Colin Kaepernick’s High School Years Will Be Highlighted in New Netflix Series

Ava DuVernay is bringing Colin Kaepernick’s high school years to Netflix in a new six-episode series.

Netflix announced this morning that a scripted limited series examining the teenage life of the athlete and activist is in the works, and it’s called Colin in Black & White.

Colin and Ava’s collaboration will focus on his formative high school years, “lending meaningful insight into the acts and experiences” that led to his efforts to fight police brutality and systemic racism.

Plus, Colin will also act as narrator of the series. That’s pretty sweet!

According to reports, Colin in Black & White will provide an introspective look at his life, from his early years as a Black child growing up with a white adopted family to his NFL journey and beyond.

We don’t know about you, but we’re so ready for this.
