Rolling Stones Might Sue Trump For Using Their Songs at Rallies

The Rolling Stones just may sue Donald Trump for using their songs at his rallies despite several cease-and-desist letters.

This morning, the band’s legal team joined with music rights organization BMI to stop Trump’s campaign.

“The BMI have notified the Trump campaign on behalf of the Stones that the unauthorized use of their songs will constitute a breach of its licensing agreement,” the band said in a statement.

“If Donald Trump disregards the exclusion and persists, then he would face a lawsuit for breaking the embargo and playing music that has not been licensed.’’

Trump’s campaign played their 1969 song “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” to close out a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Well, clearly Trump can’t always get what he wants. Find another song!
