Joe Jonas And Sophie Turner to Star in ‘The Princess Bride’ Remake

The 1987 film The Princess Bride is getting a remake starring real life married couple Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner!

Helmed by Juno director Jason Reitman, it will be shot entirely at-home by each cast member using their phones. How cool is that?

Beginning June 29, the network Quibi will release chapters of their self-made movies every day for two weeks.

Other members of the cast include Common, Tiffany Haddish, Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka, Chris Pine, Annabelle Wallis, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Garner, Elijah Wood, Jon Hamm, and more!

According to reports, the actors will trade off roles throughout scenes, each paying homage to the film in their own unique way.

The best part? Original director Rob Reiner will play “The Grandfather” and Fred Savage will reprise his role as “The Grandson” — 33 years later. LOL!

Quibi also donated $1 million in the name of the project to chef José Andrés’ charity World Central Kitchen, which provides meals to those who have been most affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

All we can say is… we’re in!
