‘Tiger King’ Star Carole Baskin’s Missing Husband’s Will Was Forged

This story is definitely not over!

According to reports, the will of Don Lewis, the late husband of Tiger King star Carole Baskin, was forged.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister revealed the news in a new interview this week.

As stated in the docuseries, Don went missing from Tampa in 1997 and was formally declared dead in 2002. His disappearance was examined as Joe Exotic, the star of the series, accused Carole of being responsible.

She denied all claims that she had anything to do with Don’s disapperance.

Now, it’s been revealed by Carole’s former lawyer Joseph Fritz that he thought Don’s signature was forged on the will that left Carole with his estate, which was worth up to $10 million.

“I believe it was traced,” Joseph told Nancy Grace.

Plus, the notary listed on the will does not remember authenticating the documents, according to USA Today. Not to mention, two different handwriting experts seemed to conclude that the signature was copied from his 1991 marriage document.

This week, Chad confirmed to 10 Tampa Bay that “two experts deem it 100 percent a forgery,” and noted that “it certainly cast another shadow of suspicion.”

“I hope something pans out,” Chad said. “Fingers crossed — I hope we can finally solve this case.”

Um, this is a bombshell y’all! Also… perfect for a Tiger King sequel. Talk about a twist!
