Ashton Kutcher posted a video on Instagram and Twitter to address some social media users posting #AllLivesMatter.

“I don’t think the people that are posting ‘All Lives Matter’ should be canceled, I think they should be educated,” he said, before sharing a story about how he and his wife Mila Kunis taught their 3-year-old son, Dimitri, a valuable lesson about inequality.

When Dimitri asked why his 5-year-old sister Wyatt was getting her story read before him, Ashton replied because “for some boys, girls don’t get to go at all.”

“So when it comes to Black Lives Matter,” he added, “I think what folks that are writing ‘All Lives Matter’ need to understand is that for some people, black lives don’t matter at all. So for us, Black Lives Matter!”

He concluded, “So while you may have the best intentions, in saying ‘All Lives Matter,’ remember, for some people, black lives don’t matter at all.”

Wow. What a great statement. We need more white A-listers like Ashton to speak out about racial bias.
