Tom Hanks Donates Blood Plasma For the Second Time

Tom Hanks has donated blood plasma again as an effort to help the COVID-19 response.
The second visit comes only months after he and wife Rita Wilson recovered from COVID-19 themselves.
“Plasmatic on 3! 1,2,3 PLASMATIC! Hanx,” he wrote on Instagram next to a pic of two bags of plasma.
Tom gave his first plasma donation a month ago.
“We have not only been approached, we have said, ‘Do you want our blood? Can we give plasma?’ And, in fact, we will be giving it now to the places that hope to work on what I would like to call the Hank-ccine,” Tom said on NPR’s podcast Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!
