Hilary Duff felt obligated to speak out after rumors started circulating that she and her kids are somehow involved in sex trafficking.

Yesterday, Hilary was accused of partaking in sex trafficking based on an Instagram video she posted of 8-year-old son Luca laying down nude — a post that has since been deleted.

“Someone pointed out on Instagram that I did a nude of him, which I did, so we covered that up with sticker,” she said in a follow up clip before adding another message on Twitter:

Of course, some users just didn’t know how to quit:

Honestly, we think it’s crazy she had to respond to these kinds of rumors. But at least she put it on record just to clear the air.

We’re sure it will all die down soon.
