Trump is Left Stuttering When a Reporter Corrects His False Statement

A reporter corrected Donald Trump after he made some pretty big claims.

After the president proclaimed that he “cannot tell a lie,” and that he hasn’t left the White House “in months,” PBS reporter Yamiche Alcindor couldn’t help themselves.

Yamiche reminded him that he had held a political rally on March 2 in North Carolina: “You held rallies in February and March and there are some—,” Yamiche said before Trump cut the reporter off.

“I don’t know about rallies. I really don’t know about rallies,” he said. “I know one thing: I haven’t left the White House in months, except for a brief moment to give a wonderful ship, the [USNS] Comfort—”

“You held a rally in March,” the reporter chimed in.

“I don’t know. Did I hold a rally? I’m sorry, I hold a rally. Did I hold a rally?” Trump responded.
