Gayle King Once Cornered 50 Cent at a Party For ‘Talking Sh*t’ About Oprah

According to Page Six, Gayle King confronted 50 Cent at a black-tie gala about his history of “talkin’ s–t” about her best friend, Oprah Winfrey.

Say what!!

Apparently, the smackdown led to a tiff between him and Oprah, before he eventually turned on Gayle herself.

In his forthcoming book, Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter, 50 writes that he bumped into Gayle at a fête for Bette Midler’s foundation.

“Gayle is the real deal — a very sophisticated, secure, and smart lady,” he wrote, according to Page Six. “She’s never afraid of a situation … so she marched right up to me and basically said, ‘Why you talkin’ s–t about my girl?’”

Of course, she was referring to what he had said about the talk-show legend, like when he was quoted as saying: “Oprah’s audience is my audience’s parents, so I could care less about Oprah or her show.”

He even named his dog Oprah, seemingly to make a point.

He apparently told Gayle that he thought Oprah didn’t like him because he’d “heard her criticize his brand of hip-hop as violent and misogynistic — and he figured he may as well get some press for taking digs at her publicly,” Page Six writes.

50 wrote that he often uses pretend beefs with celebs as a “strategy” to make people talk about him.

“Listen, I’d love to be Oprah’s friend,” he said he told Gayle. “But if we can’t be friends, could we at least be enemies?”

LOL! Really, 50? You love to stir that pot, but you’re also super adorbs.
