Ali Wentworth Tests Positive For COVID-19

We’re sad to report that Ali Wentworth confirmed she has tested positive for COVID-19 and she’s “never been sicker.”

The comic posted a photo from her bed, explaining that she’s suffering from a “high fever. Horrific body aches. Heavy chest,” and is “quarantined from my family. This is pure misery #stayhome.”

Her husband is Good Morning America anchor George Stephanopoulos, who announced this week that he will be working from home for the foreseeable future as Ali heals.

Stephanopoulos, 59, joined the morning show from his at-home studio set-up, with his co-anchor Michael Strahan, explaining to the audience that the star was “coming to us from his home.”

“I’m broadcasting from home right now,” George said on the most recent GMA episode. “Ali has developed some symptoms so she’s upstairs resting right now.”

Thankfully, she has someone to care for her while she’s ill. We know you’ll push through, Ali. Stay strong.
