Trump Said U.S. Will Not Pay For Harry and Meghan’s Security — Here’s How They Responded
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are setting the record straight.
They have not concocted a plan to ask the U.S. government to cover their security costs following their move to Los Angeles, as per what Donald Trump implied (see Tweet above).
Now, Harry and Meghan’s representative gave a statement to the press:
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no plans to ask the U.S. government for security resources,” it read. “Privately funded security arrangements have been made.”
In other words: Um, no thank you.
