Prince Charles Tests Positive for COVID-19

It’s been revealed that Prince Charles has tested positive for COVID-19, but thankfully he’s currently in good health.

His wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, does not have the virus, according to a statement from the palace.

“Both of them remain in good spirits. There is a sense of keeping calm and carrying on. The duchess is concerned for him but she is aware of his own good spirits and therefore is keeping a close eye on him and mindful of her own situation,” a source told People. “She is upbeat.”

Another Clarence House spokesperson confirmed the diagnosis this morning.

“The Prince of Wales has tested positive for Coronavirus,” they said. “He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual.”

A statement further explained:

“The Duchess of Cornwall has also been tested but does not have the virus. In accordance with Government and medical advice, the Prince and the Duchess are now self-isolating at home in Scotland. The tests were carried out by the NHS in Aberdeenshire where they met the criteria required for testing.”

The statement added, “It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks.”

We’re so sorry to hear about this, but we know the Prince can pull through. We hope everyone stays vigilant.
