Vanessa Hudgens made headlines this week after posting a video saying it’s inevitable that many people will die during the pandemic.

In her original Instagram post, she said, “Um yeah, til July sounds like a bunch of bulls–t,” referring to reports that the quarantine might last that long. “I’m sorry. But like, it’s a virus. I get it like, I respect it, but at the same time like even if everybody gets it, like yeah, people are going to die, which is terrible, but like inevitable?”

“I don’t know, maybe I shouldn’t be doing this right now,” she also added.

Now, she has officially apologized for making the insensitive comments.
