Queen Elizabeth Has to Leave Buckingham Palace Over Coronavirus

Well it’s finally happened. Buckingham Palace is taking serious measures to help protect the royal family from the coronavirus.

In fact, according to The Sun, the Queen and Prince Phillip were chauffeured off to Windsor Castle this weekend, where they’ll remain in quarantine.

“She is in good health but it was thought best to move her,” a source told the paper. “The Queen has met a lot of people there until recently. But she is weeks away from her 94th birthday and advisers believe it is best to get her out of harm’s way.”

Windsor Castle is nearly 25 miles away from Buckingham Palace, which of course is in the middle of London and welcomes a slew of visitors every day.

Reportedly, there are over 1,400 reported cases in the UK — including 21 deaths.

Take care, your majesty.
