Norwegian Cruise Line Workers Reportedly Told Employees to Lie to About Coronavirus

Apparently, Norwegian Cruise Line has been pressuring employees to lie to passengers about the dangers of a coronavirus outbreak.

As the Miami New Times reports, an anonymous Florida-based employee of the cruise line said that some managers have been telling sales folks to mislead customers.

That source presented emails reportedly drafted by management, which have misinformation to be shared with any customer who brings up fears about the illness on board.

Part of that message urged employees to tell passengers that they’re safe from contracting the coronavirus because of the warm Caribbean climate where many of its ships sail, which is false, the paper states.

Norwegian has yet to reply to requests for comments from multiple outlets. Surprised? Not really… but no doubt they’ll respond soon.
