A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, right?

Constance Wu will certainly stop at nothing when it comes to researching a role. The actress said in an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show that she spent time working in a strip club while preparing for Hustlers — and she made $600 in one night!

“I went undercover. I gave lap dances to strangers,” she told Kelly.

In the film, Constance’s character is based on former stripper Roselyn Keo, who was arrested over her role in the scam to con wealthy Wall Street men.

“You’re lying!” Kelly exclaimed, to which Constance replied: “I’m not lying.”

Furthermore, she said she put fake tattoos on her neck and added hairpieces.

“You can’t duplicate it, the first time you walk into a club and say ‘Hey, I would like to have a job here’ and then you go work that night,'” Constance said.

But that’s not all. She also installed a stripper pole in her living room at home for a few months. Now that’s something we can get into!
