Meghan Markle’s Dad Says The Royal Family ‘Owes Me’
Meghan Markle’s dad just gave a bombshell interview where he insinuates that he will continue cashing in on her success.
At one point, he says “the royals owe me,” and directly tells his daughter, “It’s time to look after Daddy.”
Thomas Markle’s interview is part of an upcoming UK documentary. In it, he admits that he is still making money off photos he staged with a paparazzo last year, even though the photos humiliated his daughter just before her 2018 royal wedding.
“Absolutely. Those pictures will sell forever,” he said in the doc, Thomas Markle: My Story, according to clips shared with the Mirror.
Thomas has never met his royal grandson, Archie.
According the Mirror, he seemed to have no qualms about taking cash for interviews: “I’m going to defend myself and I’m going to be paid for it. I don’t care,” he said bluntly. “At this point, they owe me. The royals owe me. Harry owes me, Meghan owes me. What I’ve been through I should be rewarded for.”
“I’m in my senior years now — it’s time to look after Daddy,” he reportedly told the team.
Oh man. We can’t imagine what Meghan must be feeling right now, but we hope she’s making it through.
