Bernie Sanders Supports Cardi B’s Political Aspirations
As we previously reported, Cardi B recently revealed that she dreams of possibly running for congress one day. Naturally, presidential candidate Bernie Sanders was quick to say “okurrr!”
In a statement to TMZ, Bernie told it like it is about our girl Cardi.
“Cardi B is deeply concerned about what’s happening in the country,” he explained. “She knows what it’s like to live in poverty and struggle, and it would be great for her to bring that experience to politics.”
The rapper had expressed an interest in politics after watching documentaries about war, as she shared on Twitter:
Well if this doesn’t inspire Cardi to dream bigger, we don’t know what will!
