The Queen is demanding order!

According to royal sources at People magazine, Queen Elizabeth has ordered an emergency family meeting about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s recent announcement that they’re stepping down from senior royal roles.

Prince Harry, Prince William, and Prince Charles will be at the meeting at her country home of Sandringham, Norfolk, on Monday.

Sources say Meghan will likely join via phone if it happens within the right timeframe, since she is currently in Vancouver Island, Canada.

The high-level meeting is for the royals to “talk things through.” The meeting itself insinuates that there may be an end in sight to all the drama.

“Following a series of meetings and consultations across the last few days, there is a range of possibilities for the family [to] take into account the thinking the Sussexes outlined earlier in the week,” the palace source told People.

“As we have said previously, making a change to the working life and role of the monarchy for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex requires complex and thoughtful discussions. Next steps will be agreed at the meeting,” the source added. “The request for this to be resolved ‘at pace’ is still Her Majesty’s wish. The aim remains days, not weeks. There is genuine agreement and understanding that any decision will take time to be implemented.”

Dang! We’ve had family meetings before, but this one is sure to be on a whole other level worthy of it’s own season for The Crown.
