Cameron Diaz clearly is owning her role as mom.

The actress and her husband, Good Charlotte musician Benji Madden, recently had their first child, daughter Raddix. And according to People magazine, the new mom has no plans to hire help.

“Cameron wants to spend every second with the baby,” the insider said, adding of the surprise announcement of her delivery: “Their close friends are extremely loyal, so it’s not strange that they were able to keep it quiet.”

In a 2018 interview, Cameron said that she’s “semi-retired” from acting.

Good for you, Cameron. It’s much easier when they’re little babies… just wait till she turns 2!
