Sources Say Alex Trebek Is NOT Retiring From ‘Jeopardy’

Despite Alex Trebek’s recent cancer diagnosis, a coworker has told CTV News that he has no plans to retire from Jeopardy!.

“He has no plans to quit, and is absolutely not announcing his retirement [anytime soon],” the source told the outlet. “We’ll play it by ear and keep chugging along until we either win or lose.”

On December 20, Alex hosted his annual holiday party for his staffers at Feinstein’s at Vitellos in L.A. Apparently, he looked fit, active, and more vibrant than ever.

“I can officially take this off of my bucket list,” Alex told the crowd at the event. “This was a real treat for me.”

The man certainly shows no signs of slowing down. Starting on January 7, Alex will host the primetime special “Greatest of All Time” tournament, featuring former Jeopardy! champions Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter and James Holzhauer.

We can’t even express how happy we are that he’s back to his old self again. We love you, Alex!
