Britney Spears is not playing around, y’all.

The pop star is planning to go to court next year to fight for more time with her sons. The news comes amidst recent drama over her conservatorship with her father, Jamie Spears, as well as an altered custody agreement with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The September agreement with Kevin ruled that Britney would get the kids —  Preston, 14, and Jayden, 13 — 30 percent of the time, whereas previously she and Kevin had a 50-50 split.

Now, according to Us Magazine, a source close to the singer says Britney is taking Kevin to court in hopes of altering the agreement so she can see her sons more.

“Britney’s goal in the new year is to go to family court and petition the judge for increased custody time with the boys,” the insider told the outlet. “She will have the boys on Christmas Eve, and they will go to their dad’s at some point on Christmas Day.”

Furthermore, another source told the outlet that Britney and Kevin do “not have much of a relationship” apart from “everyday coparenting stuff. They’re cordial but don’t do very much as a family.”

Say what you want about their family drama, but Britney loves those kids. Hopefully she will find a way to do it cordially without much drama. We’re rooting for you, Brit!
