Alanis Morissette Drops New Single, & Will Embark On ‘Jagged Little Pill’ 25th Anniversary Tour

We’re beyond excited for Alanis Morissette this morning!

The Canadian singer-songwriting legend announced that she is embarking on a 31-stop North American tour this summer in honor of Jagged Little Pill‘s 25th anniversary.

Furthermore, she is bringing special guests and fellow 1990s powerhouse alt rockers, Garbage and Liz Phair. Not to mention, Jagged Little Pill is also a new musical on Broadway, which opens in New York City on Thursday at the Broadhurst Theatre.

The singer is also dropping by The Tonight Show on Wednesday, where she’ll make the debut television performance of her new single, “Reasons I Drink” from her upcoming album, Such Pretty Forks in the Road — the first new album she’s produced in eight years.

Though its backing sounds upbeat, the lyrics of “Reasons I Drink” allows Alanis to open up about her dependence on alcohol.
