Carrie Ann Inaba Threw Up When James Van Der Beek Was Eliminated From ‘DWTS’
Carrie Ann Inaba really cares about the contestants on Dancing With the Stars. And we mean, really cares.
Carrie recently opened up about her shocking reaction to James Van Der Beek’s elimination after the Dawson’s Creek alum also revealed that his wife, Kimberly, suffered a miscarriage.
“It was heartbreaking,” she said on The Talk. “I went home and I vomited.”
She added it was difficult “as a human being” to send James home after experiencing a family tragedy.
“I have so much sadness in my heart for them, and my prayers are with them,” she added. “But, you know, this is when it’s really hard. As a judge, I have to judge the dance. I know on Dancing With the Stars we show their stories and we get to know them, and they become family, and their pain is my pain.”
