Lori Loughlin Is Now Facing New Charges

Just when it seems it can’t get any worse for Lori Loughin, it always does.

The actress and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded not guilty to yet another fresh set of charges in the massive college admissions scandal.

The couple is already accused of paying $500,000 to get their two daughters into the University of Southern California as fake athletic recruits. A federal judge signed off on their pleas yesterday.

As a result, today’s scheduled arraignment on a superseding indictment charging them with conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery was canceled.

Prosecutors tacked on this new bribery charge for 11 parents who previously pleaded not guilty in the case — Lori and Mossimo just being one couple.

They had also pleaded not guilty to fraud and money laundering.

Another 19 parents have pleaded guilty or agreed to do so, the New York Post reports.

Lori and Mossimo were two of the dozens of wealthy parents charged with paying bribes to a college fixer to get their kids into top schools.

The weeks are ticking down to Lori’s court date, so we’ll see if her case still holds water then.
