All is right again!

In case you missed it last week, Taylor Swift called out her ex-manager Scooter Braun for having “tyrannical control” over her music — so much so that she wasn’t allowed to play her own songs at the upcoming American Music Awards… crazy right?!

Furthermore, the record company Big Machine was allegedly refusing to let her stream older performances for her surprise Netflix documentary.

Now that’s just petty…

But, according to TMZ, Taylor is now officially allowed to play her hits during the performance next weekend.

TMZ explained that the hold up on the record label’s end was that they weren’t certain of what happens to the live AMAs broadcast after it airs on television.

However, Big Machine and Dick Clark Productions stated the singer can perform any of her songs at the show — including re-broadcasts.

“The Big Machine Label Group and Dick Clark Productions announce that they have come to terms on a licensing agreement that approves their artists’ performances to stream post show and for re-broadcast on mutually approved platforms,” a statement to TMZ read. “This includes the upcoming American Music Awards performances. It should be noted that recording artists do not need label approval for live performances on television or any other live media.”

Well… that’s good! The question still remains though: Why was this so dramatic in the first place?
